According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the Saudi Arabian Civil Defense Directorate issued an official statement via its social media channels regarding the incident. The authorities advised residents in Dammam to remain calm, follow official instructions, and proceed immediately to the nearest designated shelters.
The official advisory urged the public to remain in shelters until the threat has completely passed, emphasizing the need to stay away from windows, balconies, and open areas. Drivers were instructed to pull over in safe locations, away from bridges and high-rise buildings, upon hearing the sirens. Furthermore, citizens were warned against gathering at incident sites or attempting to record footage of the situation. Following the initial alert, the Saudi Civil Defense Directorate later confirmed that the threat in Dammam had been neutralized, though they advised residents to remain vigilant and contact the 911 emergency hotline if necessary.
Simultaneously, the Ministry of Interior of Bahrain reported the activation of alarm signals across the country. Authorities called on citizens and residents to maintain composure and adhere to established safety protocols by seeking refuge in the nearest secure locations.
