The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Navy has claimed responsibility for launching missile and drone strikes against several assembly centers of United States and Israeli military personnel on Bubiyan Island in the Persian Gulf.

Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the IRGC issued a statement regarding the operation, asserting that the facilities were targeted as part of a coordinated military action.

"A large number of American marines were killed in the attack involving various types of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and ballistic missiles, with the dead and wounded being transported to hospitals," the statement claimed. The IRGC further warned that US bases located anywhere in the Middle East would remain potential targets for future operations.

Bubiyan Island, the largest island in the Kuwaiti coastal archipelago, is situated in the north-western corner of the Persian Gulf. The region has seen heightened geopolitical tensions in recent months, with frequent reports of maritime and aerial incidents involving regional powers and international coalition forces. While the IRGC has publicized these claims, there has been no immediate independent verification of the casualties or the extent of the damage from international military observers or official sources in Washington.
