Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs has officially condemned the strikes carried out by Iran against Azerbaijan using unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
The Operative Information Center-OMM reports, citing the Saudi MFA, that Riyadh expressed deep concern over the escalation and reaffirmed its support for the security and stability of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The statement emphasizes the importance of respecting national sovereignty and adhering to international law to prevent further destabilization in the region. Saudi Arabia called on all parties to exercise restraint and avoid actions that could threaten regional peace. This diplomatic stance aligns with the growing strategic cooperation between Baku and Riyadh, as both nations continue to strengthen bilateral ties across political, economic, and security sectors within the framework of international organizations.
