Sabail FC, currently finalizing its roster for the upcoming season, has officially announced the return of former team captain Rahid Amirguliyev. The experienced midfielder has signed a 1+1 year contract with the club.
According to information provided to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the deal marks a significant reunion for the club. Amirguliyev previously represented Sabail FC from 2018 to 2023, serving as team captain and playing a pivotal role in the club's development during that period.
Throughout his extensive career, the veteran midfielder has established himself as a prominent figure in domestic football, having appeared in 451 matches in the history of the Azerbaijani championships. During his previous tenure with Sabail FC, he made 120 official appearances. The club is now preparing for the upcoming campaign, where it will compete in the Azerbaijan I League, aiming to leverage Amirguliyev's experience to achieve success in the division.
