Sabah has been crowned the champion of the Azerbaijan Basketball League for the 2025/2026 season, marking their fourth consecutive national title. In the third game of the final series held at the Baku Sports Palace, the team secured a decisive 108-95 victory over Absheron Lions.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the Baku representative dominated the final series, having won the previous two encounters with scores of 98-93 and 112-84. Under the leadership of head coach Rimas Kurtinaitis, the team maintained its dominance in the national league, concluding the season with a clean sweep in the finals.
The Azerbaijan Basketball League has seen significant development in recent years, with increased professional standards and competitive play across the country.
