The National Hydrometeorological Service has released the weather forecast for July 12, warning of rising temperatures across Azerbaijan.
According to information provided to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the weather in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula is expected to be mainly rainless. A north-westerly wind is forecast to strengthen intermittently during the day.
Temperatures in the capital are expected to range between 20-25°C at night and 30-34°C during the day. Atmospheric pressure will be 759 mm of mercury, with relative humidity levels fluctuating between 70-80% at night and 50-55% during the day.
Across the regions of Azerbaijan, the weather is expected to remain largely dry. However, intermittent rain is forecast for some mountainous and foothill areas. In isolated locations, there is a possibility of short-term intense precipitation, thunderstorms, and hail. Fog is expected in some mountainous areas during the night and morning hours, accompanied by intermittent easterly winds.
Temperatures in the regions will reach 20-25°C at night and 33-38°C during the day. In mountainous regions, temperatures will range from 13-18°C at night to 23-28°C during the day, with some areas reaching up to 32°C.
Meteorologists advise the public to take necessary precautions against heat-related risks, such as heatstroke, particularly during peak daylight hours when temperatures are at their highest.
