Neftçi-Qarabağ oyunu: Metronun iş rejimi dəyişdirildi

Baku Metro CJSC has announced adjustments to its operational schedule in connection with the upcoming international matches involving the Neftchi and Garabagh football clubs. The decision aims to facilitate the safe and efficient transport of spectators attending these high-profile sporting events.

According to information provided to the Operative Information Center-OMM by the Baku Metro, the transit authority will operate on an enhanced schedule for two consecutive days to accommodate the high volume of fan interest.

Under the metro's operational plan, the first set of enhanced measures will be implemented today at the "Khalglar Dostlugu" station, located near the 8th km stadium, where the Neftchi vs. Dinamo (Belarus) match is scheduled to take place. Additional personnel will be deployed to the station, and monitoring mechanisms will be intensified to manage passenger flow.

Tomorrow, similar measures will be enforced at the "Ganjlik," "28 May," and "Narimanov" stations, which are situated near the Tofiq Bahramov Republican Stadium, the venue for the Garabagh vs. CSKA (Bulgaria) encounter. Reserve trains will be kept on standby to be deployed if necessary, and the operation of other stations will be synchronized with the needs of these key transit hubs once the matches conclude.

Baku Metro serves as the primary public transportation backbone for the capital of Azerbaijan. By extending service hours during major events, the transit authority plays a critical role in managing large-scale crowd movements, ensuring that fans can travel safely between the city's major stadiums and residential districts.
