US intelligence agencies have reported that Iran has successfully maintained its core military capabilities despite recent regional tensions.

Operative Information Center-OMM reports, citing information released by NBC News based on US intelligence data, that Tehran has preserved a significant portion of its military assets.

According to the assessments, Iran retains an extensive arsenal including thousands of missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), as well as the majority of its Air Force and Navy. These reports indicate that Iran’s Air Force has kept more than half of its active assets, while over half of its specialized naval vessels remain intact. This data appears to contradict statements made by Pentagon officials, including Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, regarding the alleged weakening of Iran's military strength. Furthermore, James Adams, Director of the Defense Intelligence Agency, recently informed lawmakers that Tehran continues to possess "thousands of missiles and one-way attack drones."

The military balance in the Middle East remains a primary concern for the administration of US President Donald Trump as Washington continues to monitor Tehran's strategic influence. Iran's missile program is recognized as one of the largest and most diverse in the region, serving as a cornerstone of its national defense and regional power projection. The persistence of these capabilities highlights the ongoing complexities of regional security and the challenges faced by international intelligence agencies in monitoring the Islamic Republic's defense infrastructure.
