Unstable weather conditions, characterized by intermittent rainfall, are expected to persist across the regions of Azerbaijan until August 14.

According to information provided by the National Hydrometeorology Service to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the weather will feature localized intense downpours, lightning, and hail. Meteorologists anticipate that precipitation will intensify, particularly in mountainous and foothill districts between August 11 and 12.

Authorities have warned that the increased rainfall may lead to rising water levels in rivers, with the possibility of short-term flash floods occurring in some mountain streams. Residents and travelers in these areas are advised to exercise caution and monitor official weather updates.

The National Hydrometeorology Service, which operates under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, is responsible for monitoring climate patterns and issuing early warnings for natural disasters in Azerbaijan. Such alerts are critical for public safety, particularly in the country's diverse topography, where rapid changes in weather can significantly impact infrastructure and agricultural activities in mountainous regions.
