Severe traffic congestion has been reported on the main roads and arteries of Baku, causing significant delays for commuters in the capital.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the Intelligent Ride Management Center (NIIM) has released an official statement regarding the current traffic situation. According to the center, heavy density is being observed across multiple strategic locations, particularly during peak hours.
The areas currently experiencing the highest levels of congestion include:
- Baku-Sumgait highway, in the direction of the "20 Yanvar" metro station;
- Ali Mustafayev Street, heading towards Ziya Bunyadov Avenue;
- Ziya Bunyadov Avenue, from the intersection with Ahmad Rajabli Street to the intersection with Ataturk Avenue;
- Tbilisi Avenue, from "20 Yanvar" metro station toward the city center;
- 28 May Street, from the intersection with Pushkin Street to the intersection with Rashid Behbudov Street;
- Babek Avenue, in the direction of the center;
- 8 November Avenue, from the intersection with Suleyman Ahmadov Street toward the center;
- Mikayil Mushfiq Street, from the "Badamdar" circle toward School-Lyceum No. 20;
- Abdulvahab Salamzade Street, in the direction of Ziya Bunyadov Avenue;
- Mahammad Hadi Street, around the "Ahmedli" metro station;
- Heydar Aliyev Avenue, both on the main and auxiliary roads heading toward the center;
- 1st Gol Kanari road, in the direction of Ziya Bunyadov Avenue;
- Binagadi highway, from "Azadliq Prospekti" metro station toward Binagadi settlement;
- Uzeyir Hajibeyli Street, up to the intersection with Azadliq Avenue.
