According to the official report, traffic density is most significant on the following routes:

  1. Baku-Sumgait highway, in the direction of the "20 January" metro station;
  2. Binagadi highway, in the direction of the "Azadliq Prospekti" metro station;
  3. Ali Mustafayev Street, heading towards Ziya Bunyadov Avenue;
  4. "20 January" circle;
  5. Abdulvahab Salamzade Street, in the direction of Ziya Bunyadov Avenue;
  6. 28 May Street, from the intersection with Pushkin Street to the intersection with Rashid Behbudov Street;
  7. Yusif Safarov Street, heading towards the city center;
  8. Uzeyir Hajibeyli Street, up to the intersection with Azadliq Avenue;
  9. Afiyaddin Jalilov Street, in the direction of Yusif Safarov Street;

Traffic congestion in Azerbaijan's capital often intensifies during peak morning and evening hours due to the high volume of vehicles entering the city from surrounding residential areas and Sumgait. The Intelligent Transport Management Center continues to monitor the situation in real-time to optimize traffic light intervals and coordinate with relevant authorities to ensure the safety and fluidity of movement across the capital's infrastructure.
