On June 22, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov arrived in the Republic of Azerbaijan for a state visit.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, a guard of honor was lined up in honor of the distinguished guest at Heydar Aliyev International Airport, where the national flags of both countries were displayed.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov was welcomed at the airport by First Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Yagub Eyyubov, Deputy Foreign Minister Samir Sharifov, and other officials.
This state visit underscores the strengthening strategic partnership between Baku and Ashgabat. Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan maintain robust cooperation across various sectors, including energy, transportation, and logistics, particularly within the framework of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route. High-level diplomatic exchanges continue to play a pivotal role in deepening bilateral ties and regional stability.
