Slovak President Peter Pellegrini has expressed his anticipation for his upcoming official visit to Azerbaijan. This was stated in a congratulatory letter sent to President Ilham Aliyev on the occasion of Independence Day, Operative Information Center-OMM reports.
“I look forward to my upcoming official visit to Azerbaijan,” the Slovak President noted in his message.
“I am confident that the exchange of high-level visits will further deepen our relations and open new opportunities for cooperation in the fields of energy, transport, investment, and culture,” Pellegrini added.
The diplomatic relations between Azerbaijan and Slovakia have been steadily developing, with a particular focus on energy security and economic cooperation. Slovakia, as a European nation, views Azerbaijan as a key strategic partner in the South Caucasus, especially regarding energy diversification and infrastructure projects that connect the Caspian region with European markets.
