President of the Republic of Maldives Mohamed Muizzu has sent a congratulatory letter to President Ilham Aliyev on the occasion of Azerbaijan's Independence Day.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the letter reads:
"Your Excellency,
On the occasion of the Independence Day of your country, it is my great pleasure to extend to Your Excellency, the Government, and the people of Azerbaijan my sincere congratulations and best wishes on behalf of the Government and the people of the Maldives.
I note with appreciation the development of our enduring bilateral relations, based on mutual respect, trust, and cooperation. I am confident that the friendly relations between the Republic of Maldives and the Republic of Azerbaijan will continue to strengthen in the coming years.
Your Excellency, I wish you good health and well-being, and the people of Azerbaijan continued progress, peace, and prosperity.
