The situation in the South Caucasus has changed dramatically, primarily driven by the outcomes of the Second Garabagh War.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, President Ilham Aliyev made these remarks during the opening ceremony of the IV Shusha Global Media Forum.
The head of state noted that the regional landscape has been fundamentally altered. "Many foundations have been shaken. Other events occurring in the region—such as Azerbaijan's full restoration of its sovereignty, Armenia's pivot toward European-oriented policies, and related processes—require a comprehensive reassessment of the situation, both by analysts and at the state level," President Ilham Aliyev stated.
The Shusha Global Media Forum serves as a significant international platform, bringing together media leaders, journalists, and experts from across the globe to discuss the evolving challenges in global journalism and regional security. Since the liberation of Shusha, the city has increasingly become a hub for international dialogue, symbolizing Azerbaijan's commitment to regional stability and the promotion of its new geopolitical realities.
