President Ilham Aliyev, during a meeting with residents in the city of Zangilan, has outlined the primary factors contributing to Azerbaijan's increasing international standing and respect on the global stage.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the head of state emphasized that the country's international positions and prestige have reached a significantly high level. "Today, everything is clear. Azerbaijan's international positions and international prestige are at a very high level. The respect, sympathy, and positive attitude towards us are expanding. There is a reason for all this. Of course, it is our dignified policy, the unity between our words and deeds, and naturally, our military victory," President Ilham Aliyev stated.
Zangilan, located in the East Zangezur economic region, was liberated from occupation during the 44-day Patriotic War in 2020. Since the restoration of its territorial integrity, Azerbaijan has initiated extensive "Great Return" programs, focusing on the reconstruction of liberated territories. The city of Zangilan is currently undergoing massive urban redevelopment, including the implementation of "smart city" concepts and the operation of the Zangilan International Airport, which serves as a strategic hub for the region's integration into international transport corridors.
