Participants of the latest meeting of the Coordination Headquarters, established for the centralized resolution of issues in the liberated territories of the Republic of Azerbaijan, have reviewed the master plan for the city of Aghdara.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, officials were briefed on the city's development prospects, urban planning concepts, and the infrastructure projects slated for implementation in the region.
The meeting, held on June 17 in Aghdara, was chaired by Samir Nuriyev, head of the Coordination Headquarters. This presentation marks a significant step in the ongoing, large-scale reconstruction efforts currently underway across the Garabagh and East Zangezur economic regions.
Since the liberation of these territories in 2020, the government of Azerbaijan has prioritized the "Great Return" program, which focuses on the comprehensive restoration of infrastructure, the construction of modern residential complexes, and the revitalization of local economies to facilitate the safe and dignified return of former internally displaced persons to their ancestral lands.
