The weather conditions expected at Absheron beaches on August 19 have been announced.
The National Hydrometeorological Service informed the Operative Information Center-OMM that a moderate north-westerly wind is expected to prevail tomorrow.
Sea water temperature:
In the northern beaches (Sumgait, Novkhani, Pirshagi, Nardaran, Bilgah, Zagulba), the water temperature is expected to be 24-25 degrees Celsius.
In the southern beaches (Turkan, Hovsan, Sahil, Shikh), the water temperature will reach 25-26 degrees Celsius.
The Absheron Peninsula, which encompasses the capital city of Baku, is a primary recreational hub for residents and tourists during the summer months. The National Hydrometeorological Service regularly monitors these coastal areas to provide essential safety and climate data, ensuring that beachgoers are informed about water temperatures and wind conditions, which are critical factors for safe swimming and maritime activities in the Caspian Sea region.
