The State Flag Square and the State Flag Museum, along with all associated assets, have been transferred to the balance sheet of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Azerbaijan. This decision was formalized through a decree signed by President Ilham Aliyev concerning the activities of the Seaside Boulevard Administration and the Intellectual Property Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Operative Information Center-OMM reports.
According to the decree, the rights, obligations, and property related to the protection, control, management, and maintenance of the State Flag Square and the State Flag Museum in Baku are being transferred from the Seaside Boulevard Administration to the Presidential Administration.
The Cabinet of Ministers has been tasked with ensuring the completion of this transfer process within a two-month period.
The State Flag Square, inaugurated in 2010, stands as a significant landmark in Baku, symbolizing the national sovereignty and pride of Azerbaijan. The complex features one of the tallest flagpoles in the world, which has previously held the Guinness World Record.
