"Nothing can be achieved through bloodshed!"
Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the IRNA agency has released information regarding this statement.
"The initiatives of the leaders of Azerbaijan, Türkiye, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Oman, Qatar, Pakistan, and other countries are commendable. We can solve the region's problems ourselves in conditions of peace. We do not need any outside 'patrons'," the Iranian leader stated.
Touching upon the development of transport infrastructure, Pezeshkian noted that regional corridors play a decisive role in security and prosperity:
"The opening of roads will strengthen the collective security of the region. The economies of the states will develop mutually. An environment of stability and tranquility will be established in the region."
The Iranian leader declared that necessary support will be provided to businessmen who want to invest in his country. He emphasized that the "win-win" formula will be the main principle in economic cooperation.
This call for regional integration comes at a time when Azerbaijan and Iran are actively working on enhancing transit capabilities, including the development of the International North-South Transport Corridor (INSTC). Strengthening ties between Tehran and Baku remains a priority for regional stability, particularly in the context of restoring transport links in the South Caucasus and ensuring the security of sovereign borders without external interference.
