Russia has not yet achieved all its objectives during the military operation in Ukraine, but it will continue its activities until they are met.

The Operative Information Center-OMM reports that Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov made these remarks during a press briefing in Moscow.

"It is true that these have not yet been achieved. The main goal is to ensure the safety of people living in eastern Ukraine whose lives are under threat. This is the primary objective, but the goals have not been fully reached; therefore, the special military operation will continue," Peskov stated. He made these comments in response to statements by Volodymyr Zelenskyy regarding Russia's failure to achieve its strategic aims.

On the fourth anniversary of the Russia-Ukraine conflict, Zelenskyy stated on his Telegram channel that Russia "could not break Ukrainians and win this war." He added that Ukrainians have preserved their country and will do everything possible to achieve peace and justice. The ongoing conflict, which began in February 2022, has significantly reshaped global geopolitics and remains the largest military confrontation in Europe since World War II, with both sides maintaining firm positions on territorial integrity and security guarantees.
