Nargiz Sharifova has been appointed as the deputy director of the Baku City Health Center.
The Operative Information Center-OMM was informed of the appointment by the Administration of the Regional Medical Divisions (TƏBİB). According to the statement, Sharifova previously served as an assistant at the 1st Department of Pediatric Diseases of the Azerbaijan Medical University (AMU) from 2023 until her current appointment. During this period, she also worked as a neonatologist in the neonatal intensive care unit of the AMU Teaching Surgery Clinic. Sharifova is recognized as a first-degree civil servant.
The Baku City Health Center is a key institution responsible for the coordination and management of primary healthcare services in the capital of Azerbaijan. Operating under the jurisdiction of TƏBİB, the center focuses on enhancing the efficiency of medical facilities, including polyclinics and diagnostic centers, to ensure accessible and high-quality healthcare for the population of Baku.
