Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has met with special envoys of the US President to discuss regional security and diplomatic efforts.
The Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the Prime Minister's Office released information regarding the meeting on social media. According to the statement, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu held talks with US presidential envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner. During the meeting, the parties discussed pressing regional issues and exchanged views on the first stage of negotiations held with Iran last Friday.
The discussions come as diplomatic activity intensifies ahead of high-level state visits. Earlier, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt announced that US President Donald Trump is scheduled to hold a bilateral meeting with Netanyahu at the White House on February 11. These consultations are seen as critical for aligning the strategic interests of both nations regarding Middle Eastern stability and the Iranian nuclear program.
The meeting underscores the strengthening of bilateral ties between Israel and the United States under the current administration. Since US President Donald Trump took office in January 2025, there has been a renewed focus on brokering regional peace agreements and addressing security threats in the Middle East. These diplomatic engagements are part of a broader framework intended to foster long-term stability and cooperation among key regional stakeholders.
