The "Samur" border command post, located within the service area of the "Khudat" Border Detachment of the State Border Service (SBS), has been commissioned following extensive renovations. The facility is now fully operational for personnel.

Chief of the State Border Service, Colonel-General Elchin Guliyev, stated that the reconstruction and commissioning of the "Samur" border command post reflect the continuity of efforts to establish modern border infrastructure and underscore a forward-looking development strategy.
"The participation of veteran border guards in this event is a clear example of the moral bond among border personnel, loyalty to service traditions, and the high respect shown for the work of those who have honorably stood guard over the Motherland's borders," Guliyev added.
The State Border Service of Azerbaijan is responsible for the protection and security of the country's state borders. The ongoing modernization of border infrastructure, including the renovation of command posts and the deployment of advanced surveillance technologies, is a strategic priority for the Republic of Azerbaijan to ensure national security and effective border control along its northern and southern perimeters.
