The test examination phase for the teacher recruitment competition (MIQ) for the 2026/2027 academic year has officially commenced today.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the test examinations are being conducted across 38 testing centers located in 19 cities throughout Azerbaijan, with the process scheduled to continue until July 18.
During the examination, candidates are evaluated on their subject-specific knowledge, teaching methodology, and pedagogical approaches. Only those who achieve the required passing score in the test phase will be eligible to proceed to the subsequent stages of the competition.
The teacher recruitment competition is a critical component of the Ministry of Science and Education's strategy to enhance the quality of instruction in public schools. By standardizing the selection process through competitive testing, the government aims to attract highly qualified educators to the national school system, ensuring that students across the country receive a high standard of education aligned with modern pedagogical requirements.
