The results of the teacher recruitment (MIQ) competition have been officially announced, according to the Institute of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Candidates can now view their final scores and access information regarding vacancy selection through their personal accounts on the official portal.
As reported by the Operative Information Center-OMM, the test phase for recruitment into state general education institutions took place from July 14 to 18. The examinations were conducted across 35 centers, with over 33,000 candidates participating, reflecting a high attendance rate of 96%.
Following the conclusion of the exams, experts reviewed all inquiries regarding the content of the test questions. Discrepancies affecting the assessment were identified in several subjects: biology (1), geography (1), Russian language and literature (1), chemistry (1 in the Azerbaijani section, 3 in the Russian section), and music (1 in the Russian section). Adjustments were made in favor of the candidates to ensure fair evaluation, and updated results have been uploaded to the candidates' personal portals at miq.edu.az.
The teacher recruitment competition is a critical component of Azerbaijan's ongoing educational reforms, aimed at enhancing the quality of instruction in public schools. By standardizing the selection process through centralized testing, the Ministry of Science and Education ensures that qualified professionals are placed in schools across the country, including in the liberated territories of Garabagh and East Zangezur, as part of the broader national development strategy.
