Rusiya XİN: Ukrayna və Fransa Afrika ölkələrindəki terror əməliyyatlarında iştirak edir

Russia has accused specialists from Ukraine and France of involvement in activities linked to terrorist groups in Africa.

According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, this statement was made by Anatoly Bashkin, Director of the Africa Department at the Russian Foreign Ministry, in an interview with the TASS news agency.

Bashkin alleged that Ukrainian and French specialists are participating in the planning of operations for terrorist groups operating on the African continent. According to the Russian official, this involvement extends beyond the mere transfer of intelligence data to the application of combat assets and the preparation of operational strategies.

It has been noted that reports previously circulated in some sources suggesting that unmanned aerial vehicles, allegedly of Ukrainian manufacture, had been discovered in the possession of armed groups in Africa. Kyiv and Paris have not yet issued an official response to these allegations.

The African continent has increasingly become a theater for geopolitical competition among global powers, with various nations vying for influence through security partnerships and economic cooperation. Russia has significantly expanded its military and political footprint in several African nations in recent years, often positioning itself as an alternative security partner to traditional Western influence in the region.
