Azerbaijan's northern and northwestern regions are frequently susceptible to seasonal flooding and mudslides due to the mountainous terrain and intense precipitation. The government of Azerbaijan regularly allocates funds from the state budget and the President's Reserve Fund to ensure the rapid restoration of infrastructure and residential properties affected by such natural phenomena, prioritizing the safety and social welfare of the local population.
