The Lufthansa Group has announced the extension of its suspension of night flights to Israel until February 3. This decision affects operations across the group's major carriers, including Lufthansa, SWISS, Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines, and Eurowings.
According to Operative Information Center-OMM, citing reports from The Times of Israel, all flights to Tel Aviv's Ben Gurion Airport have been restricted to daylight hours since January 15. The aviation group stated that the temporary suspension of overnight operations is a precautionary measure intended to ensure the safety of passengers and crew while minimizing potential disruptions.
The Lufthansa Group further noted that most canceled night flights have been rescheduled to daytime slots, and affected passengers are being provided with alternative travel arrangements.
