Major General Mursal Ibrahimov, Chief of the State Service for Mobilization and Conscription of the Republic of Azerbaijan, along with personnel from the agency's headquarters and the Baku garrison, visited the Alley of Honor to commemorate the 103rd anniversary of the birth of National Leader Heydar Aliyev. The delegation laid a wreath at the grave of the Great Leader, paying tribute to his enduring legacy and memory.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the officials also visited the grave of the prominent ophthalmologist-scientist, Academician Zarifa Aliyeva, and laid flowers in her honor. Furthermore, commemorative ceremonies were held at the Service's headquarters, the Central Recruitment Station Complex, and various local structural units throughout Azerbaijan to mark the occasion.
Heydar Aliyev, recognized as the architect of modern Azerbaijan, served as the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan from 1993 to 2003. His leadership is credited with establishing political stability and laying the foundation for the country's economic development and international standing following the early years of independence. The anniversary of his birth is observed annually across the nation as a day of deep respect for his contributions to the statehood, sovereignty, and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan.
