Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, founder and head of the IDEA Public Union Leyla Aliyeva, and head of the Baku Media Center Arzu Aliyeva visited the integrated boarding school No. 11 in Baku on the occasion of June 1 - International Children's Day.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the guests met with the children and presented them with gifts.
During their visit to the educational institution, they toured the "Qurma" art studio. The studio showcases carpets, paintings, and sewing samples created by children with special needs, highlighting their creative potential and skills development.
The school also hosted an entertainment program for the students. As a gesture of appreciation, the children presented their own handmade crafts to the guests.
The Heydar Aliyev Foundation, led by First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva, frequently initiates social projects aimed at supporting vulnerable groups, including children with special needs. Such visits are part of the Foundation's ongoing commitment to fostering inclusivity and providing necessary resources for the education and social integration of children across Azerbaijan.
