Leyla Aliyeva and Alena Aliyeva have visited the Ganja Autism Center to familiarize themselves with its activities and facilities.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the Autism Center, established through the initiative of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, provides comprehensive support to families and children from Ganja and surrounding regions, including Shamkir, Dashkasan, Tovuz, Samux, and other districts.
It was noted that the programs implemented at the center contribute significantly to the integration of children into society and their families, enabling them to take an active role in the community. In addition to rehabilitation services, the center conducts regional awareness campaigns focusing on autism, neurodiversity, and inclusivity to foster a more supportive environment.
The Heydar Aliyev Foundation continues to spearhead numerous social and humanitarian projects across Azerbaijan, with a particular focus on healthcare and the development of specialized centers for children with special needs. These initiatives are part of a broader strategy to ensure equal opportunities and improve the quality of life for vulnerable groups throughout the country, aligning with Azerbaijan's national social welfare priorities.
