Lenqle "Atletiko"dakı gələcəyi ilə bağlı qərarını verdi

Atletico Madrid is preparing for significant squad changes during the upcoming summer transfer window as the club looks to reshape its defensive line.

According to reports from the Spanish press, as cited by the Operative Information Center-OMM, both the club management and the coaching staff are planning to part ways with central defender Clement Lenglet. The club, often referred to as "Los Colchoneros," has reportedly signaled that the French player is no longer part of their long-term plans.

Despite the club's stance, the 30-year-old defender has expressed no intention of leaving Madrid. Lenglet’s current contract runs for another two years, and he is reportedly unwilling to consider a transfer unless he receives a highly attractive offer that aligns with his career goals.

Clement Lenglet joined Atletico Madrid a year ago as a free agent following his departure from Barcelona. Under the guidance of manager Diego Simeone, he made 24 appearances across all competitions last season, contributing one assist. His situation highlights the common challenges clubs face when managing long-term contracts for players who may no longer fit the tactical requirements of the coaching staff.
