Lavrovdan Ukrayna ilə bağlı sərt xəbərdarlıq: "Yeni Berlin divarı yaradılır"

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has criticized recent initiatives proposed by European nations regarding the ongoing conflict in Ukraine. The minister addressed these concerns during his speech at the 12th "Primakov Readings" international scientific and expert forum, as reported by the Operative Information Center-OMM.

According to the reports, Lavrov strongly opposed proposals to deploy international stabilization forces within Ukrainian territory. He argued that such a measure could lead to long-term regional tensions and the formation of new geopolitical divisions. The Russian Foreign Minister emphasized that initiatives presented within the framework of European security guarantees could have serious consequences for Ukraine's future, potentially leading to the country's de facto partition and the creation of new political barriers in the region.

Drawing historical parallels, Lavrov warned of the risk of forming new dividing lines in Europe, characterizing the potential scenario as the creation of a "new Berlin Wall." He reiterated that Moscow considers such an approach unacceptable, asserting that it would not contribute to conflict resolution but rather exacerbate geopolitical confrontation. The Russian side continues to advocate for diplomatic solutions and political dialogue as the primary means to address the crisis.

The "Primakov Readings" is a prestigious annual international forum held in Moscow, named after the late Russian statesman Yevgeny Primakov. It serves as a platform for diplomats, experts, and policymakers to discuss global security, international relations, and regional conflicts, often reflecting official Russian foreign policy perspectives on current geopolitical challenges.
