Windy weather conditions continue to persist across various regions of Azerbaijan.

According to the report, north-westerly winds are currently blowing in several areas. Maximum wind speeds have reached 22 m/s in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula, 21 m/s in Julfa, 20 m/s in Neftchala, and 18 m/s in Naftalan.
The windy weather conditions observed across the country are expected to gradually moderate starting from the afternoon hours today.
The Khazri is a cold, strong north wind characteristic of the Caspian Sea region, often causing significant temperature drops and turbulent sea conditions. The National Hydrometeorology Service continues to monitor atmospheric pressure and wind patterns to provide timely updates to the public and relevant state agencies regarding potential weather-related hazards.
