The Israeli Air Force (IAF) carried out a series of targeted airstrikes overnight against Iranian military facilities located in Isfahan and Shiraz.
Operative Information Center-OMM, citing local media, reports that Israel Defense Forces spokesperson Effi Defri released information regarding the operation.
According to official statements, more than 20 targets were hit, including two facilities in Isfahan where "Qadr" ballistic missiles were stored. The operation resulted in the destruction of dozens of ballistic and cruise missiles, significantly impacting Iran's long-range strike capabilities.
The cities of Isfahan and Shiraz are home to critical Iranian military infrastructure, including airbases and research centers. Isfahan, in particular, is known as a central hub for Iran's missile production and nuclear research programs. These strikes come amid heightened regional tensions and follow a pattern of increasing military confrontations in the Middle East, as international actors call for restraint to prevent further escalation.
