Security forces in Istanbul have neutralized three individuals during an attempted attack on the Israeli consulate, according to official reports. The incident prompted an immediate response from Turkish law enforcement to secure the diplomatic mission and the surrounding area.
Istanbul Governor Davut Gul confirmed that the assault targeted police officers stationed at the site.
"Two of our police officers sustained minor injuries as a result of the attack. One terrorist was killed, and two others were neutralized while wounded. Efforts are currently underway to identify the individuals involved,"
the Governor stated.
