Two journalists have reportedly been killed amid the ongoing military operations in the Middle East.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, Suzan Khalil, an employee of the Al-Manar television channel, lost her life as a result of an Israeli airstrike in Lebanon.
This follows a separate incident in the Gaza Strip where another media representative, Mohammad Washah, was killed. Reports indicate that his death was also the result of an Israeli strike. Meanwhile, Israeli media outlets have alleged that the individuals in question were agents operating under the guise of journalists.
The deaths of media professionals in the region have drawn significant international attention to the safety of journalists in conflict zones. Since the escalation of hostilities in the Middle East, international press freedom organizations have repeatedly called for the protection of civilians and media workers. These incidents underscore the high risks faced by reporters covering the frontlines of the volatile geopolitical situation in the Levant and the Palestinian territories.
