The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have completed a new wave of military strikes against Al-Quds Force infrastructure located within Lebanon. According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, citing the military's press service, the operation targeted a series of military facilities, specifically focusing on the command headquarters of the organization.
Official statements from the military command emphasized the strategic importance of the targets, noting that the Lebanon-based corps serves as a primary coordination link between Hezbollah and Iran. "The corps acts as a mechanism supporting the expansion and consolidation of Hezbollah's influence in the region," the official report stated. Furthermore, the Israeli army confirmed that strikes were also directed at two strategic positions used by the Islamic Jihad organization for coordinating with Hezbollah and planning operations against Israel.
These military actions take place against a backdrop of heightened regional tensions and ongoing security challenges along the Lebanese-Israeli border. The Al-Quds Force, an elite unit of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), has long been a focal point of international security concerns due to its role in unconventional warfare and its support for various armed groups across the Middle East. Such operations are frequently conducted to degrade the logistical and operational capabilities of proxy networks that threaten regional stability.
