New figures regarding war casualties in Iran have been released following recent hostilities.
The Operative Information Center-OMM reports that Abbas Masjedi, the head of Iran's Forensic Medicine Organization, stated that at least 3,375 people have been killed as a result of the conflict involving Israel and the United States.
According to the official data, Masjedi provided a gender breakdown of the fatalities, noting that 2,875 of the deceased were men and 496 were women. Additionally, the identities of four individuals have not yet been determined. Masjedi further emphasized the humanitarian toll of the violence, adding that 383 of the victims were children under the age of 18.
The announcement comes in the wake of a ceasefire declared between Iran and the United States on April 8. Following the truce, mediation efforts were held in Islamabad on April 11–12 under the auspices of Pakistan. Although high-level talks were conducted between the parties to secure a lasting peace, a final comprehensive agreement has not yet been reached. The international community continues to monitor the situation closely as regional stability remains a primary concern for global energy markets and diplomatic security.
