Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has issued a stern warning to the United States, stating that negotiations regarding a final agreement will not commence if Washington continues its threatening rhetoric. Araghchi emphasized that diplomatic dialogue cannot be conducted under conditions of pressure and intimidation.

According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, Araghchi drew attention to the provisions of the "Islamabad Memorandum" signed between the parties, reiterating that Iran remains committed to its stance against external coercion.

The Iranian Foreign Minister made these remarks following the funeral ceremony of the country's Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei. He highlighted the participation of millions of people in the ceremony, describing it as a clear demonstration of the unity of the Iranian people and the resilience of the nation. Araghchi asserted that neither the Iranian public nor the country's armed forces would retreat in the face of threats or pressure, noting that the massive turnout serves as an indicator of domestic support for Tehran's official policies.

The head of Iranian diplomacy called on the US to respect signed documents and fulfill its obligations. Tehran maintains that for regional stability to be preserved, Washington must remain committed to agreements and refrain from pursuing ambiguous or confrontational policies. The "Islamabad Memorandum" is viewed by Tehran as a critical framework for bilateral engagement, and its implementation is seen as a litmus test for the sincerity of US diplomatic intentions in the region.
