Iranian military sources have released information claiming that a strike was carried out against a strategically significant military facility located in Qatar. According to the reports, the operation targeted a United States radar installation that plays a critical role in the regional ballistic missile detection system.

Operative Information Center-OMM, citing foreign media outlets, reports that the US-owned radar unit, essential for early warning and tracking capabilities, has been put out of service. This radar system is considered one of the primary elements of the missile defense network in the Middle East, providing surveillance and data for interceptor units.

Official Washington has not yet issued a statement to confirm or deny the reports regarding the incident. Experts suggest that if these claims are verified, it could lead to a significant shift in the regional military balance and trigger a new wave of tension in relations between the administration of US President Donald Trump and the Iranian government. Qatar currently hosts the Al Udeid Air Base, which serves as the forward headquarters for the US Central Command (CENTCOM) and is a vital hub for American military operations in the region.
