According to a high-ranking Iranian source speaking to TASS ahead of negotiations in Islamabad, the Islamic Republic remains prepared to escalate its regional activities if its diplomatic conditions are not met.
The Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the official source emphasized Tehran's readiness to resume strikes. "If the cessation of the war is not consolidated in a UN Security Council resolution based on the conditions we have put forward, we are fully prepared to resume combat operations against the United States and Israel—as we have done over the past 40 days, but with even greater intensity," the source stated.
The demand for a formal UN resolution comes amid heightened regional tensions and ongoing diplomatic efforts to prevent a wider conflict in the Middle East.
