Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesperson, Esmaeil Baghaei, has issued a sharp statement accusing the United States of committing alleged "war crimes" against Iran.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, Baghaei stated in a social media post that recent actions by the US have further exacerbated tensions in the region.
"The recent events have only strengthened the Iranian people's determination to ensure justice and hold those responsible accountable," Baghaei noted. He emphasized that Tehran intends to utilize all available diplomatic and legal avenues within the framework of international law to address the situation.
The Iranian official called upon the international community and relevant organizations to adopt a more decisive stance against US actions. He argued that such measures pose a significant threat not only to Iran but to the security of the entire Middle East region.
Tensions between Tehran and Washington have historically fluctuated, often centered on issues regarding nuclear proliferation, regional influence, and economic sanctions. The Middle East remains a volatile geopolitical landscape where diplomatic rhetoric frequently reflects broader strategic rivalries between major powers and regional actors.
