President Ilham Aliyev and Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan have held discussions regarding the next practical steps for the implementation of the "Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity" (TRIPP), a significant outcome of the Washington Peace Summit.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the discussion took place on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit held in Bishkek. During the meeting, the leaders addressed the ongoing efforts toward the delimitation of borders and the finalization of a comprehensive peace treaty between Azerbaijan and Armenia.
The leaders emphasized the strategic importance of connectivity projects along the TRIPP corridor. Such initiatives are viewed as essential components for fostering regional stability and economic integration in the South Caucasus. The TRIPP framework aims to leverage international cooperation to facilitate trade routes and infrastructure development, which both Baku and Yerevan have identified as key priorities in their post-conflict normalization process.
