President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has sent a congratulatory letter to the President of the Republic of Estonia, Alar Karis, on the occasion of the country's national holiday, Independence Day.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the head of state expressed his sincere congratulations and best wishes to President Karis and the people of Estonia on behalf of himself and the people of Azerbaijan.
"I believe that Azerbaijan-Estonia relations of friendship and cooperation will continue to develop and expand for the benefit of our peoples. On this festive day, I wish you robust health, success in your activities, and the people of Estonia everlasting peace and prosperity," the letter stated.
Diplomatic relations between Azerbaijan and Estonia were established in 1992, shortly after both nations regained their independence. Over the past decades, the two countries have maintained a steady dialogue, particularly within the framework of Azerbaijan's cooperation with the European Union and international organizations. This official correspondence underscores Baku's commitment to strengthening bilateral ties and fostering mutual economic and political interests in the Baltic region.
