Military Prosecutor Behruz Ahmadov, alongside senior officials from the Ministry of Defense, held an event titled "Legacy of the Great Leader – the foundation of statehood and army building" at a military unit of the Main Department of Rocket and Artillery Troops. The meeting was dedicated to the development of the Armed Forces and the enhancement of legal awareness among personnel.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the Military Prosecutor's Office reported that the event highlighted how the visionary policy of National Leader Heydar Aliyev laid the foundation for modern army building and significantly strengthened the defense capabilities of Azerbaijan. Lieutenant General Agamir Sultanov, Commander of the Rocket and Artillery Troops, emphasized the strategic importance of professional training and recalled the heroism of artillerymen during the 44-day Patriotic War and subsequent anti-terror operations. He noted that the personnel are ready to execute all orders and instructions issued by the Victorious Supreme Commander-in-Chief, President Ilham Aliyev.
The development of Azerbaijan's military infrastructure and the modernization of the Armed Forces remain central pillars of the national security strategy. Following the full restoration of sovereignty in Garabagh, the Ministry of Defense has intensified its focus on maintaining high combat readiness and improving the social and living conditions of servicemen. During the visit, the military prosecutor inspected the living quarters of the personnel and provided necessary recommendations regarding the further strengthening of military discipline and legal compliance within the unit.
