Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov held a meeting with Radoslav Sikorski, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland, on the sidelines of the Ukraine Recovery Conference (URC2026) held in Gdansk, Poland.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan reported on the meeting via its official "X" social media account.
During the discussions, both sides expressed satisfaction with the positive dynamics observed in Azerbaijan-Poland relations. They emphasized the critical importance of regular political dialogue and high-level mutual visits in further strengthening bilateral ties. The agenda focused on expanding economic and humanitarian cooperation, as well as developing trade and investment partnerships.
Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov briefed his counterpart on the post-conflict developments in the region, the ongoing normalization and peace process between Azerbaijan and Armenia, and the large-scale reconstruction and development efforts currently underway in Azerbaijan's liberated territories. The ministers also exchanged views on regional security issues of mutual interest.
The Ukraine Recovery Conference (URC) is a series of annual high-level political events dedicated to the rapid recovery and long-term reconstruction of Ukraine following the ongoing conflict. By participating in such international platforms, Azerbaijan reaffirms its commitment to supporting regional stability and contributing to global reconstruction efforts.
In a separate segment of the talks, as reported by the Operative Information Center-OMM citing the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the ministers discussed the prospects for developing pragmatic Poland-Azerbaijan relations and reviewed progress on ongoing bilateral agreement projects. Furthermore, they exchanged views on support for Ukraine and assessed the current situation in the South Caucasus.
