Sankt-Peterburq Baş Konsulluğu 15 iyunda işləməyəcək

The Consulate General of the Republic of Azerbaijan in St. Petersburg, Russia, will not be operational on June 15.

According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the diplomatic mission issued an official statement regarding the temporary suspension of services.

The closure is due to June 15 being observed as National Salvation Day in Azerbaijan, which is an official non-working holiday in the country. This day holds significant historical importance in Azerbaijan, marking the return of National Leader Heydar Aliyev to political power in 1993, a pivotal moment that stabilized the nation during a period of severe political crisis.

"In cases of emergency or urgent matters, citizens are advised to contact the consulate via the hotline at +7 (911) 717-39-99," the statement added.

Azerbaijani diplomatic missions abroad typically observe the official holidays of the Republic of Azerbaijan, adjusting their working hours accordingly to align with the national calendar.
