Faktiki hava: Rayonlarda qar və yağış müşahidə olunur

Unstable weather conditions continue across most of Azerbaijan, with short-term intensive precipitation reported in several regions. Snow has been recorded in high-altitude areas, including Shahdag, Khinalig and Griz in Guba, and Laza in Qusar, while other districts are experiencing rainfall.

Operative Information Center-OMM reports that this information was provided by the National Hydrometeorological Service as of 11:00 on April 29. According to the data, the highest precipitation levels were recorded in Gabala (17 mm), Oguz (12 mm), and Goychay (9 mm). Significant rainfall was also observed in Shaki, Qax, Yevlax, Ismayilli, Goygol, and Shahbuz. In the capital, Baku, and the Absheron Peninsula, as well as in liberated territories including Lachin, Qubadli, Kalbajar, Shusha, and Khankendi, precipitation levels ranged between 1 and 2 mm.

Azerbaijan's climate is notably diverse, and such transitional weather patterns in late April are often influenced by the movement of cold air masses entering the country from the north and west. The National Hydrometeorological Service regularly monitors these shifts to provide timely warnings for the agriculture and transportation sectors, as sudden temperature drops and precipitation in mountainous regions can impact road safety and seasonal farming activities across the Republic of Azerbaijan.
